while installation of oracle 9i (9.2.0.4) under the redhat 9 i got an error like following:
error: you do not have sufficient privileges to write to the specified path. in compnonent database configuration assistant 9.2.0.1.0. installation cannot continue for this component. o stop installation of all products o stop installation of this component only
solution for the error is as follows:
you need to fix the environmentral varialbe for the 'oracle' users or the user that you have created to install the oracle software.
